A file appear in my directory.
I no download, it just… appear.
I was looking for a broken log, normal thing, nothing big. And then the folder blink on screen and this name show in middle of other files.
var-passwordvar-pass1462482passwordprom.html
Look like mix of variable, password and… promise? “prom.html”.
Very strange.
I laugh, “haha, I get virus”.
Shit.
Chaos happen, browser open by itself, white screen.
No source code, no real HTML.
Only one phrase:
“IF YOU SEE THIS, YOU ARE AWAKING.”
And then all turn off.
When computer come back, something was change.
The folder /var/ now have subfolders that no exist in any good operation system: /var/pass/, /var/pass/1462482/
And
Inside them, files with date from next day.
and from other day…
and from Next one.
The number in file name keep go Up:
var-passwordvar-pass1462483passwordprom.html
var-passwordvar-pass1462484passwordprom.html
Delete?
Impossible.
Rename?
Keyboard just break.
Lights off, simply nothing.
And when finally I ignore…
Monitor blink, make that CRT distortion, and the file open by itself.
Screen show a terminal…
And in bottom corner was writed:
“You take too long. Type your password.”
Even without I type nothing, the cursor move alone:
> 1462482
And then last message come:
“The password say you are waking. Now rest is mine.”
After that, computer no turn off anymore.
Never.
And always, 03:14, new file.
Counting.
And the question is:
When this counting reach the end — whatever end is — what gonna happen?
